Contract overview
Applying is not buying
An application asks Your Store Ranks to assess fit. No payment is taken and no paid service contract is formed at that point. If the application is accepted, the proposed scope, total price, timing, and payment step are confirmed in writing first.
Who provides the service
Your Store Ranks is an independent sole-trader Etsy support service based in Nottingham, England. The full legal identity and geographic service address are supplied in the written service summary and invoice before payment is requested.
Your Store Ranks is not Etsy and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Etsy. References to Etsy describe the platform being reviewed.
Using the website and free tools
You may use the website only lawfully and must not disrupt it, attempt unauthorised access, submit malicious or deceptive content, evade usage limits, or misuse generated results. Free scores are structured first-pass indicators based largely on public Etsy information. They are not a complete human audit, sales forecast, ranking prediction, or promise of business performance.
Applications, acceptance, and contract formation
- Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, reserve capacity, or create an obligation to purchase.
- Applications may be declined where the service is not a suitable fit, capacity is unavailable, information is incomplete, or the requested work falls outside the published scope.
- If accepted, you receive a written service summary setting out the agreed deliverables, exclusions, timetable, total price, currency, and any service-specific conditions.
- Unless another written arrangement is agreed, the contract is formed when you pay the Stripe invoice or secure payment link after receiving that service summary and these terms.
- The service summary and the version of these terms supplied before payment form the contract. If they conflict, the specific written service summary takes priority for that project.
Service scope and delivery
The exact scope depends on the selected service. Diagnosis offers provide the review, explanation, priorities, and delivery format stated in the service summary. Implementation offers include only the agreed listings, rewrites, support period, milestones, and final review.
- Delivery estimates begin after payment and receipt of the information reasonably needed to start.
- A delay caused by missing information, inaccessible links, platform outages, or a requested scope change may move the delivery date.
- Clarification and revision limits are those stated in the relevant offer or written service summary. A clarification is not a new audit or an expansion to additional listings.
- Work outside the confirmed scope requires a separate written agreement and may involve an additional charge.
Prices, currencies, taxes, and payment
Website prices are current guide prices for the published offers. The site may display configured prices in GBP, EUR, or USD according to the visitor's country. The written service summary and Stripe payment request confirm the currency and total amount due before the contract is formed.
Any applicable tax, deposit, instalment arrangement, or expiry date for the payment request will be stated before payment. No recurring subscription is created unless it is expressly described and agreed in writing.
Consumer cancellation rights
If you contract as a UK consumer at a distance, you will normally have 14 days from the day the contract is formed to cancel without giving a reason. To cancel, send a clear statement to support@yourstoreranks.com before the period ends.
If you ask for work to begin during that 14-day period, Your Store Ranks will obtain an express request before starting. If you then cancel after work has begun, a proportionate amount may be payable for work completed up to cancellation. The right to cancel is lost only after the service has been fully performed where you expressly requested early performance and acknowledged that consequence.
These statutory rights apply to consumers and may not apply in the same way where the service is bought wholly for business purposes. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Refunds, service concerns, and cancellation form
There is no general money-back or results guarantee. That does not affect statutory rights where a service is not provided with reasonable care and skill, is not as described, or another legal remedy applies. Approved refunds are returned using the original payment method unless agreed otherwise.
Model cancellation wording
“I give notice that I cancel my contract for [service]. Ordered on [date]. Name: [name]. Email used for the order: [email]. Date: [date].”
No guaranteed sales or rankings
Your Store Ranks does not guarantee sales, revenue, traffic, Etsy rankings, search placement, or any other specific commercial result. Audits and support are intended to improve diagnosis, clarity, presentation, buyer trust, and the order in which changes are considered. Outcomes also depend on demand, product quality, competition, pricing, implementation, platform changes, and other factors outside the service's control.
Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate information, working links, and material you have the right to share.
- Review deliverables and raise clarification requests within the stated support or review period.
- Make the final decision on changes to products, prices, listings, policies, intellectual property, and business strategy.
- Check that products and claims comply with Etsy rules and applicable law. The service does not provide legal, tax, financial, or intellectual-property clearance.
Deliverables and intellectual property
Website content, templates, scoring methods, branding, and reusable service frameworks remain the property of Your Store Ranks or the relevant licensor. Once the agreed fee is paid, the customer may use the bespoke audit, copy, and recommendations internally for the Etsy shop or listing covered by the project.
Bespoke deliverables must not be resold, published as a template, or used to train a competing service without written permission. Customer-owned shop material remains the customer's property.
Etsy and other third-party services
Etsy, Stripe, email, chat, CRM, AI, hosting, and other third-party services operate under their own terms and availability. Your Store Ranks is not responsible for platform outages, policy changes, account action, ranking changes, or third-party content outside its reasonable control.
Suspension and ending a service
A service may be paused or ended for non-payment, abuse, unlawful requests, repeated failure to provide required information, or a serious breakdown in the working relationship. Where reasonably possible, the issue and any proportionate payment or refund position will be explained in writing.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, breach of statutory consumer rights, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, Your Store Ranks is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses, lost profit, lost opportunity, Etsy platform action, or results caused by decisions outside the agreed service.
Where the law permits a financial cap, total liability connected with a paid service is limited to the amount paid for that service. This cap does not reduce mandatory consumer remedies.
Privacy and website storage
Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy. Cookies and local browser storage are described in the Cookie Policy. The Privacy Policy explains processing; it is not a request for consent to processing that relies on another lawful basis.
Complaints, governing law, and contact
Raise a service concern first by emailing support@yourstoreranks.comwith the order email, service name, and a clear description of the issue. A substantive response will normally be provided within five working days.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this does not remove mandatory protections or the right to bring proceedings in the courts available under applicable consumer law where you live.
Changes to these terms
The agreed version stays with the project
Updated website terms apply from the date published. A later update does not silently replace the terms already supplied for an existing paid project unless the change is required by law or is agreed in writing.
